A few seconds away from work, inside a little world.

Diorama started with a simple wish at the desk: a few seconds to rest the eyes, relax the mind and look at something interesting. Naturally, we turned a few seconds off into a whole project.
We imagined beautiful virtual worlds that move and respond, with little moments of fun to discover. A clock, calendar, alarm and notes alongside the scene were part of that vision, adding useful companions for work or study.
Juniper Joe’s is one exploration of that idea. In the current prototype, customers sip coffee and read the paper, a floating robot keeps its doughnut tray level, and a train comes and goes outside the window.
Warm light on the counter, a pause between sips, the gentle movement of a towel. There is plenty to notice, and it is fine to just enjoy the view.
Diorama is in development. This is a look at the work so far; its artwork and features may change.
Design notes
It started with wanting a heart-rate complication that felt right.

Rolling Heart began because we couldn’t find a beautiful, gentle heart-rate complication that fit our own style. The first idea was simple: make that everyday glance feel good to look at.
People liked it, and that encouragement gave Rolling Heart room to grow. It now brings heart-rate readings and wellness context to iPhone and Apple Watch. The idea is still the same: a useful glance that feels at home on your watch.
The quieter details matter too. Your health data stays on your devices, and there is no account to create.
Rolling Heart is for personal wellness, not medical diagnosis or emergency alerts.

Room for the useful things. Space for a little personality.

A useful glance at your wrist. A café carrying on in the corner of your desk. Rolling Heart and Diorama bring different kinds of joy, and we like giving each one room to be itself.
The watch face has plenty to tell you. The café has a whole cast of characters. A quieter space around them gives you room to notice what matters.
Warm linen, a coral heart, a little red bow tie. Small details can make familiar things feel more personal. We like the useful and the playful living together, with enough space to enjoy both.
